Phantom of the Opera Plushie

The result of my obsession with the Phantom. Simple, yet sufficiently cute and cuddly.

The pattern I drew and used for the head/body was inspired by this plush tutorial. I already had the idea of the "starfish" body in mind when I found it (I usually draw chibis with starfish bodies lol), but this little guide clarified the best way to close up each piece after stuffing and then attach the head to the body. Anyway, here is my very first plushie!

I do the hair my own way...it involves simply cutting out the shape of the hair and then gluing on the plushie's face lol. It looks pretty good actually, even though there's a kind of weird thin "bald spot" between the hair in the front and on the back of the head. Doesn't seem to hurt the cuteness and it doesn't bother me, so there, lol.

The clothes (ruffly shirt, vest, and cloak) I designed and put together myself as well. :3 Plushie clothes are much more difficult than they look, heh. ^.^;
